Default Armor global or not global effect - noob question

As you know, most armor sets have several effects in addition of their base armor rating.
Some of these effects have been proven to be global: the damage reduction (-2) from warrior's Knight and Ascalon sets is global, so you need only one piece of this armor set to benefit for the damage reduction. It has apparently been also proved for the mesmer's (+15 AL when Casting) Performer's set.
It seems that even with the new translation (-2 damage reduction ON THIS SPOT), these global effects stay global.
However, being a casual player, I did not myself actually tried to verify these assumptions by testing again and again different armor sets, so I trust mainly what has been said on this site.
Now, my noob question is:
Have the other special effects have been proven (that is to say tested) local?
I mean, is the Mesmer Rogue's set +10 AL against physical truly Local?
And the elemental Bonuses (+15 Vs one element) from Elementalist Xmancer's sets and Rangers set?
Are they also local?
Hope this has been tested and you will be able to anwer these questions.
I did NOT find any thread about the testing of local effects, only about global ones.
So, sorry if this noob question have already been asked.
